The Challenge
Horizon Group, with over 350 employees, suffered from payroll delays and calculation errors caused by disconnected spreadsheets. Tracking leaves, calculating overtime, and managing employee tax deductions took the HR team three days of manual data entry every month. Compiling statutory compliance reports for payroll taxes was another source of administrative delays.
Our Custom Solution
We designed and launched a custom, centralized HR & Payroll platform. We connected the payroll system with biometric attendance terminals to automatically calculate salaries based on work logs, leave requests, and overtime. The system features employee self-service portals for viewing payslips and submitting leave requests, routing approvals automatically to managers.
The Outcome & Impact
Payroll processing was cut down from 3 days of stressful manual data entries to just 4 hours of audit checks. Leave management is now entirely automated, saving hours of paperwork. Regulatory compliance audits are instant, as tax reports and payroll registers are compiled automatically by the system.
